Hello all :)
Im new here, came across this site just by chance!
I am a big Fell pony fan and my old cob was (possibly) Fell x Friesian. He passed away about 18 months ago :( and I bought a 17hh Hunter type (what was I thinking?). He turned into a nightmare and he's just been sold (passed his vetting yesterday!), and Im horseless again!
Im up in Edinburgh at University, thinking of looking for a new pony after the winter so Im sure some of you would be very useful in advising where to look!
I'll be after a large Fell pony (Im considering Dales, Highland, traditional cobs and other large native breeds too, but you know it's the fell I really want :wub: ) as Im 5'9" (but very light). My dream is to have a lovely stocky workman-like fell, unbacked 3yr old, really really unflappable temperament, and bay :pony: .
Im into Classical Dressage and Western which I think a fell would be fab at :wink:
Anywho, nice to meet everyone, looking forward to chatting to some Fell lovers :-D
