Hi, I am Sandy, I live in Cumbria and at present own one Fell Pony (she is rising 4) and one Traditional Coloured Cob (rising 3). Aiming to buy some land to get some more! :lol:
It is great to find a forum that specialises in Fell Ponies!!

I was introduced to this wonderful breed when I was a young girl by my Auntie Joan (Duberry) and the lovely Bell family (Waverhead Fells). I always regret having to sell my first Fell, bought from the late Jim and Francis, so I had one on loan for a year before I persuaded my hubby to put his hand in his pocket!
I now own Wansfell Rebecca who is 4 on 26th May alongside my Traditional Coloured Cob, Storm.

Hi Sandy, Glad you've found this forum. Do you know that there are two long standing Yahoo Groups, one called Fell Pony and one called Fell Pony Fun? Both have members from both sides of the Atlantic as well as in Europe.

Havendale, I live just outside Carlisle, not that far, lol. I used to live at Whitehaven when I was younger (went to what used to be Overend School).

Hi Sandy yes Waverhead Model 111 was a stallion i bought him off a dealer in nov 2006 and he had just being gelded not long before he will 13 in June he is a lovely boy so quiet and gentle hes never being broken though i found this out after i had bought him i was told he was ride and drive but i love him to bits anyway

I am very new on here as well, as I have only 4 weeks ago bought my first Fell from Michelle. I own Ravenscairn Sonya, Velvet for short, and an 19 year old broodmare TB/ID.
There is a picture of Velvet on my 'new member' bit of this site. I live totally outside the native area of the Fell, but the conditions here are not that dissimilar. The Brecon Beacons National Park has plenty of mountains and moorland.

Not sure where to put up pictures of my girls, so hoping it is ok to put them on here.
