As a new member I thought it be good to introduce myself. :) My name is Leanna and I am privaleged to have been involved with fell ponies for about fourteen years, thanks to Don Eltringham, showing his clarmount ponies and of course his beautiful stallion Heltondale RobII, (who lives at my yard and knows that he is still the number 1 man in my life after my dad, but dont tell my husband that). :lol2: As you can imagine Rob is spoiled rotten enjoying just chilling out, eating and going to the odd local show, and at 17 he can still bring home a red rosette(he won the veteran class on 13/5/07). I stumbled across this site with a friend who is a dales pony breeder/fan and I am so pleased I did. Its great to see what people are up to, although you will have to excuse any errors as I am still only learning. I have called my friend twice already to post this topic. I would love to hear from anyone who owns a clarmount pony or has one of robs offspring and I promise to respond even tho it may take a while. I am going to get some pics of him too. Before I go I must mention my own little filly, maggie, who I bought in January and who will hopefully be a girlfriend for Rob (when she gets older that is as she is only 2yrs). I am thrilled to at last own my very own fell pony and am double thrilled that she won her first championship for me on sunday and the reserve overall youngstock aswell at a local show.I was so proud. :wub:

Don put Townend Finty on loan to Helen Wallis. I was Helen's mother in law until her divorce to Mathew. As she lives just over the road from me, from time to time we get together.

When Finty had Flower as a foal at foot, I was dying to get my hands on her :heart: I was in love :heart: Fortunately for me, Flower did become mine and she's been with me for oooooh a good few years now.

LOL...I've got a dales pony filly named Blossom, who'll be two end of May. She's certainly my baby :wub: But could have easily snuck many of the fell ponies away in my backpack as I visited the UK :wub: !!!
